Message From the President
Patricia Gale
Greetings and welcome to the website of the Arizona Council of ESA!
Not knowing how you happened upon our website, please allow me a bit of time and space to introduce you to what we call "the world's best kept secret." Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) is an organization dedicated to service, education and interaction with others. This nation wide group is one of the leading contributors to St. Jude's Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. The Arizona Council is one of many councils through out the country that assists in this and many other projects. Within the Arizona Council, one can find local chapters that are spread through out the state. These chapters meet regularly in order to work on educational and service projects and of course, to interact socially. Local chapters range from traditional women's chapters to internet chapters to even men's chapters. As a state council we meet four times a year (September, November, January and April) in addition to our state convention June 1, 2,3 in Tucson, Arizona.
There is a link on this website that can lead you to more information about ESA. If you are interested in more information about the Arizona Council, please feel free to contact any of the Executive Board officers, who would be glad to assist you in any way they can.
It is my pleasure to serve as the 2011 - 2012 Arizona Council State President. This year I have chosen as my theme "Writing the future in ESA." We will be spending the year looking at not only how to talk to people about ESA but also how to talk to one another within our organization in order to strengthen our bonds. We will also be spending time this year "writing our future" in the money we raise and the time we donate to St. Jude's, Easter Seals and Hope for Heroes.
I look forward to seeing each and everyone one of you during the coming ESA year. If I can be of any assistance please feel free to contact me.
